Samsung’s latest wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, offer a compelling blend of sound quality, features, and comfort.
I wasn’t surprised to see Samsung completely re-designing their ear buds that looks a lot like Apple AirPods. The previous generations of Samsung earbuds had a very unique and different look. I don’t mind the similarity as long as they fit and sound good.
Design & Features:
The new earbuds feature a stem-style design that closely resembles the Apple AirPods Pro 2. The only difference is the back of each bud has white light strips that can be illuminated or pulsed. If you don’t want people to see your glowing ears, you can turn them off. The case also resembles the AirPods case, but with a transparent lid and the earbuds placed facing opposite each other. Placing them in the case requires precision unlike the counterpart Apple AirPods Pro 2. There two colors available, white and silver.
The earbuds are controlled by a combination of capacitive touch, pinch, and pinch-and-hold. Single, double, and triple pinches of the stem are used to play and pause music, respectively, and to traverse songs. You can switch between the ANC and Ambient/Transparency sound modes by pinching the stem, and you can adjust the volume by sliding your finger up or down. With two control mechanisms, you can easily squeeze and slide the earbuds into the desired position. This allows you complete access to all of the controls on each earbud.
The remarkable sound of the Buds 3 Pro is produced internally by a brand-new twin speaker technology. It is made up of a 6.1mm planar magnetic driver and a 10.5mm dynamic driver. This is especially thrilling since planar drivers are renowned for their outstanding details and clarity.

- Great Call Quality: The microphone quality is impressive. They offer clear and noise free call quality that many true wireless earbuds lack.
- Crispy Transparency Mode: The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offers one of the best transparency or pass through mode. You won’t feel like you are wearing earbuds once you turn the transparency mode on.
Features and Comfort:
- Ergonomic Design: The earbuds are designed to fit comfortably in your ears, ensuring a secure and stable fit.
- Customizable Touch Controls: The touch controls are responsive and customizable, allowing you to easily manage calls, music playback, and ANC settings.
- Companion App: The accompanying app provides a range of features, including EQ adjustments, ambient sound modes, and firmware updates.
- IPX7 Water Resistance: The earbuds are IPX7 water resistant, making them suitable for use in various weather conditions.
Battery Life:
- Decent Battery Life: The battery life is decent, but it might not be the best in class compared to some competitors. The rated battery life is 6 hours per charge that extends to 26 hours with the case. Turning the ANC off will increase to 7 hours playback from the earbuds and 30 hours with the case.
- Charging Case: The charging case provides multiple charges, ensuring you can enjoy extended listening sessions without worrying about running out of juice. It has a USB C wired charging option along with wireless charging capabilities.
Additional Features:
- Auto Play/Pause: The earbuds automatically pause music when you remove them from your ears and resume playback when you put them back in.
- Voice Control: The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can be controlled with simple voice commands. Like play/pause music, increase volume, next track and so on. You don’t need any trigger phrase, just saying the commands out loud works perfectly.
- Voice Assistant Integration: The Buds 3 Pro are compatible with various voice assistants, allowing you to control your music, make calls, and set reminders.
